Yet instead of throwing out God or church, Rachel demonstrated a robust Christian faith outside the bounds of evangelicalism. “RHE taught the beauty of a messy and complicated faith,” wrote Cristina Rosetti on Twitter. “Rachel held doors open she didn’t have to,” wrote Candice Marie Benbow.
