A spellbinding cast led by singer-actress Rachel Alejandro and “Miss Saigon” alumna Carla Guevarra, with Lorenz Martinez and Noel Rayos, will set the musical stage on fire when “Monty Python’s Spamalot” debuts on July 28 at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza, Makati City. The Tony, Drama Desk and Grammy Award-winning production is young theater company Upstart’s newest show. “Our cast is a great combination of veterans and newbies but everyone is immensely talented, regardless of their level of experience,” he says. “A big percentage of rehearsals is composed of all of us laughing uncontrollably,” concurs musical director Onyl Torres. The Philippine production of Monty Python’s Spamalot will run Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between July 28 and August 12 at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza, Makati City.
