(Pradip Sanyal)Calcutta: The BJP, the Congress and the Left have started gathering details of candidates who failed to submit nominations citing alleged Trinamul threats and violence. The collation of information kicked off as the parties celebrated Calcutta High Court's stay on the panchayat poll process till April 16. BJP leader and rural election committee convenor Mukul Roy asked all district party presidents to collect details of candidates who could not hand in nominations. Welcoming Thursday's stay, BJP national secretary Rahul Sinha termed it "historic".
