Staff ReportBRANCHBURG - Raritan Valley Community College graduate Osei Boateng of Franklin (Somerset) has been selected as one of 2023’s top 10 CNN Heroes for his international humanitarian service. Boateng and the other nine CNN Heroes are competing to receive a $100,000 prize, which will be announced live on CNN on Dec. 10 at 8 p.m.To vote for the CNN Hero by Dec. 5, go to cnn.com/SPECIALS/cnn.heroes/vote/10/. The non-profit OKB Hope Foundation is committed to bringing healthcare to rural and underserved communities in Ghana using a mobile medical unit. The unit is equipped with medical equipment and supplies, medications, two traveling doctors, a nurse and a lab technician. Since the organization’s inception, it has provided direct medical care to more than 4,000 individuals in 52 rural communities.
