A student of History Department at Rajshahi University (RU) was killed in a train accident at Abdulpur Railway Junction in Natore on Friday. The deceased was identified as Mahdi Hasan Murad, a student of the 2024–25 academic session at Rajshahi University. According to fellow passengers and witnesses, the Titumir Express train stopped at Abdulpur Junction around 7:30am for an engine change.
