An animal welfare campaigner who died in the Ethiopian Airlines crash has been awarded a posthumous RSPCA Honours award. Joanna Toole's father Peter accepted the award on her behalf in London. The Special Recognition Award highlights her work making the world a safer place for animals. The 36-year-old from Exmouth was working with the United Nations. She was flying to a meeting at the Assembly in Nairobi along with 156 others when the aircraft crashed in March earlier this year.
