Trump allies within the RNC are already eyeing rule changes that would make it harder for Republicans to run against Trump in 2020. Messrs. Romney, Flake, and Kasich will continue chasing their fantasyof being president, even if that means destroying our party anddenying President Trump re-election. While President Trump would win re-nomination it wouldn’t come quickand it wouldn’t be inexpensive. Beyond a rules amendment, I also ask for yoursupport of a resolution declaring the RNC’s unanimous and unequivocalendorsement of President Trump for re-nomination. The so-called Republicans seeking to defeat President Trump have usedour silence to advance their cause.
