Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is running as a political independent candidate in the 2024 presidential campaign, says he’ll soon select his vice-presidential running mate. “Florida requires that the campaign name a VP to start petitioning,” the press team for the Kennedy campaign told the Phoenix on Thursday. The Kennedy campaign announced in a press release on Wednesday that that RFK Jr. will announce his vice-presidential candidate on March 26 in Oakland, California. That means that the Kennedy campaign will need to collect 145,040 valid signatures to qualify for the ballot, per the state’s Federal Qualifying Handbook. The Kennedy campaign says it intends on getting on the ballot on all 50 states by November.
