Just days after the National Super Alliance (NASA) revealed its election lineup, after keeping Kenyans in the dark in what seemed like eons, new details have emerged on how the five co-principals intend to share power among themselves if they win on August 8. It has now emerged that Raila will also be get the Finance, Defence and Education cabinet slots in a government which will have 19 ministries. The alliance creator’s party will also get an equal share of the Cabinet with Interior, Food and Agriculture slots under him. Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetangula and Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto will deputise Mudavadi according to the new deal. The ‘Pentagon’ also resolved that Raila will be a one time President, and the deal also says future flag bearers will come from a different Nasa party other than ODM.
