A woman set fire to a 70-year-old man Saturday in Pasadena, California, according to local officials. She then proceeded to spray him with a flammable liquid and used a lighter to set him on fire, The Los Angeles Times reported. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to the assault at about 10:55 pm Saturday night and arrested the woman, according to the L.A. Times. The victim was transported to a local hospital in serious but stable condition, the L.A. Times reported. “This unprovoked attack is shocking,” said Los Angeles County supervisor and Metro director Kathryn Barger, who represents the area.
