LACOLLE, QUE.—The RCMP officer killed in the line of duty in southwestern Quebec was married and a father of four. Richer Dubuc, 42, was a seven-year veteran of the force. Dubuc died from injuries sustained following a crash between his RCMP vehicle and a farm tractor about 6:30 p.m. Monday night in Lacolle, near the U.S.-Canada border. A Quebec provincial police spokesman says the tractor driver suffered minor injuries. The collision occurred on Highway 202 near Roxham Road, an area frequently used by immigrants crossing into Canada from the United States on foot.
