JOHOR BARU: The Rotary Club of Johor Baru Sentral (RCJBS) has responded to calls by an anti-dengue action group to tackle the rising number of dengue cases here. "We will be raising funds and helping schools in and around Johor Baru to seal their septic tanks, which are a breeding ground of the aedes mosquito. RCJBS royal patron Tunku Temenggong Johor Tunku Idris Sultan Ibrahim was guest of honour at the ceremony. The RAG recently proposed a collaboration with schools to combat the high number of dengue cases in the state capital. A total of 14 people died of dengue fever in Johor, out of 212 cases recorded in the state in the week ending July 22.
