KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 4): RCE Capital Bhd rose as much as 16 sen or 13% after the financial services entity said second quarter net profit climbed 80% from a year earlier. Yesterday, RCE told Bursa Malaysia that net profit increased to RM18.4 million in the second quarter ended Sept 30, 2016 (2QFY17), from RM10.22 million. 1HFY17 net profit climbed to RM35.93 million, from RM19.65 million a year earlier. Today, RCE shares rose to their highest so far at RM1.39. At RM1.32, RCE has a market capitalisation of RM437.47 million.
