Only the Awami League-backed mayoral candidate's polling agents were reportedly present at many of the polling centres of Wednesday's Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) election. No agents of the other mayoral candidates were seen during visits to multiple polling stations. No agents of other mayoral candidates could be seen at the Preparatory School and College centre in Ward 28. There are 351,982 voters to exercise their right of franchise in 1,153 rooms of the 155 polling centres in 30 wards. The mayoral candidates are the Awami League-nominated candidate, former mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton (boat), Jatiya Party's Saiful Islam Swapan (plough) and Jaker Party's Latif Anwar (rose).
