You might wonder if a documentary about an octogenarian justice of the U.S. Supreme Court might be of interest or relevance to you, regardless of your gender — or nationality? It’s a homage, of course, by two women filmmakers that flies perilously close to idolatry, but then watch the film and you’ll see why Bader Ginsburg deserves the star treatment. The film gives due credit to her late husband, Marty, a successful tax lawyer who supported her at every turn. The film opens with many of the cruel words hurled at her from the right and boy, oh boy, would Trump and company love to see the last of her. But Bader Ginsburg, who has survived two bouts of cancer and works out regularly at the gym, is tougher than her diminutive form would suggest.
