Five domestic investment projects have been concluded this year: a fossil-fuel power plant, two renewable-power projects, and the Pink and Yellow line monorail projects. In consequence, the projects will greatly strengthen RATCH’s revenue generation from independent-power-producer (IPP) assets, renewables, and power-related and new business, Kijja said. RATCH posted revenue of Bt11.937 billion, excluding energy payments, for the first nine months, with 70 per cent deriving from electricity sales and financial-lease income – together worth Bt8.321 billion. RATCH currently has a recognised equity capacity of 7,379.13 megawatts equivalent, divided into 6,495.51MW equivalent of commercial capacity, and 883.62MW equivalent from projects under construction and development. Besides Thailand, the company operates power businesses in Laos, Australia, China and Indonesia.
