The foreigners did not have their passports with them, the law enforcers say. The elite force later handed the foreigners to the police for questioning, Ukhia Police Station OC Md Abul Khayer told bdnews24.com on Friday. He said a RAB patrol stopped the foreigners on suspicion in front of a relief centre near Ukhia Degree College around 2:30pm. The detained foreigners include two from the UK and Italy each, and one each from the Netherlands, Turkey, South Korea, Kenya, Brazil, Belgium and Norway. The police are waiting for instructions from the high-ups on actions against the detained foreigners.
