Representational photoFour suspected members of Ansar-al-Islam were arrested from Dhaka and SavarRapid Action Battalion (RAB) 4 Commanding Officer (CO) Mozammel Haque has said militant groups are now interchanging their members, which is very significant. The press briefing was held around 11:30am at the RAB media centre in Karwan Bazar area of Dhaka. Among the four arrestees, Mufti Saiful Islam, 34, from Manikganj has previously worked with another militant group -- Harkat-ul-Jihad (Huji) -- said the RAB CO. The RAB CO said: “Militants are usually unknown to each other and get together only during group meetings. "The militants want to establish a Khelafat and Sharia based regime, and desire to punish everyone they perceive[1] as anti-Islamic,” the RAB official added.
