Rest in peace, San Diego Chargers. The list of efforts by the Chargers to get out of Qualcomm Stadium dating back to 2000 is long. Fans, the ones that always truly lose in these situations, will mourn the loss in San Diego. After 16 years, you would think that ownership and a league with pockets that deep wouldn't be blackmailing San Diego, but then it's not like this didn't happen almost exactly a year ago to the good people of St. Louis. According to the LA Times, the lease for the Chargers will be just $1 a year.
