Pakistan has a traditional friendly relationship with JapanISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Shah Mehmood Qureshi will pay a two-day visit to Japan from April 21 to reinvigorate ties between the two countries, sources at the Foreign Office said on Sunday. Qureshi was scheduled to visit Tokyo from February 24 to 27, but that had to be postponed due to escalation in tensions with India. Pakistan has a traditional friendly relationship with Japan. After Tokyo visit, the foreign minister will set off for China on April 23 where he will meet key leaders in Beijing during the Belt-and-Road Forum event. The foreign minister will be joined by Prime Minister Imran Khan on April 25 during the Beijing event.
