Emon was a staff member at a restaurant in the Vatara area in Dhaka’s Notun Bazar. He was shot in the middle of a clash while heading to work from home on Jul 19. The youth passed away while receiving treatment at the hospital’s Ward 101 at 3:15am on Saturday. The body of Emon has been kept at the hospital morgue for an autopsy, said Bachchu Mia, officer-in-charge of the DMCH police outpost. Emon used to live with his elder sister Tahmina in Notun Bazar.
