Ann Riechers, owner of Quilt Stitches in Beatrice, started a quilt block challenge at Gage County Fair in 2023. The finished blue-and-white quilt was auctioned off before the premium auction on Sunday afternoon. Adults and children completed quilt blocks that were judged in open class during the 2023 fair. Photos of the fair are posted on the Gage County Fair Facebook page. The 2025 Gage County Fair will be July 23-27, with the theme “You Gotta Love the Gage County Fair.”
