Credit: Digital FoundryThe Witcher 3’s HDR patch for the PS4 has the unfortunate side effect of reducing draw distances for foliage and shadows. There’s a work-around for players who have downloaded the patch and want to return to the longer draw distances that were in place before the patch was installed. The work-around has the added benefit that The Witcher 3 plays at a locked 30 fps even in high-stress areas like Crookback Bog. Click Video Output Settings. If you’re playing on an HD 1080p screen, click Supersampling Mode (also under Video Output Settings) and set supersampling to off.
