THE Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene, popularly known as Quiapo Church, has set up a memorial wall for people who died of Covid-19. “We have a memorial wall where people can write the names of those who died during the pandemic,” Fr. Badong said the memorial wall was placed outside the church for easy access to people whose family members, friends and relatives succumbed to the dreaded disease. The city of Manila, where Quiapo Church is located, has the second most number of coronavirus cases in Metro Manila next to Quezon City. “The whole archdiocese will mourn for our dead during this pandemic but with great hope given by the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus,” Pabillo further said.
