Business owners in Quezon City must install CCTVs (closed circuit television cameras) in their respective establishments to help in police investigations, Chief Supt. Joselito Esquivel Jr. director of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said on Thursday. Esquivel said businesses who will not comply with the order will be sanctioned under City Ordinance No. ADVERTISEMENT“Let us invest in the security of our business establishments by taking advantage of the benefits from the advance technology,” he said in a statement. According to the city ordinance, the installation of CCTVs helps deter criminality in the city.
