Quetta attack: Australian HC condoles with Punjab minorities minister

LAHORE: Australian High Commissioner (HC) in Pakistan Margaret Adamson Wednesday held a meeting with Punjab Minister for Human Rights and Minorities Affairs (HR&MA) Khalil Tahir Sandhu and condoled with him on the loss of lives in the Quetta church attack. Christmas brings a message of happiness and peace and we stand with all members of the Christian community in Pakistan. Sandhu said that the Christian community was busy making arrangements for Christmas and the entire Pakistan was being decorated with festive colours. He said that after the Quetta incident, a letter was immediately send to Punjab inspector general of police to beef up the security, especially around churches. Margaret Adamson wished a happy Christmas to the minister and admired the measures taken by Punjab government for the protection of Christians and their worship places.
