In the FIR, the father claimed that Kainat had been poisoned to death by Red Crescent Secretary General Khalid bin Waleed. According to Kainat’s father, Khalid had secretly married Kainat and had allegedly taken her to Britain. The father added that Kainat’s mother suspected that she was pregnant, so she was urging Khalid to make her marriage public. They also could not find any evidence of Kainat having been out of the country when they checked her passports. The accused Khalid has been taken into custody and his five-day remand has been obtained in which he will now be interrogated.
