Victims included a woman on crutches, a 60-year-old man who was pushed into Lake Wakatipu, and a man who was hospitalised after being knocked unconscious by a punch to the head. Sergeant Steve Watt said the man was walking near Steamer Wharf with an associate when he "randomly'' pushed over an Indian woman on crutches. The pair then proceeded to Earnslaw Park, where the man pushed another man in an unprovoked attack. He then pushed a 60-year-old Asian man, who was also kicked in the back of the legs. The pair then pushed the man down a set of stairs leading down to the lakefront, before pushing him into the lake.
