Queenstown Lakes District Council sport and recreation manager Simon Battrick said the council was ‘‘very pleased’’ with how the work had progressed. The Arrowtown pool will close for the season on Sunday, March 15 to coincide with Alpine Aqualand’s reopening. A family pool party at Alpine Aqualand on will take place on March 21 to celebrate.
