Queensland records four new Covid cases but none from the Indian Delta strain

Queensland has recorded four local cases of the Alpha strain of Covid-19 just two days after the state emerged from lockdown. Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk told reporters at a press conference on Monday morning that all new cases are linked to a known cluster. Ms Palaszczuk said health experts do not believe the Delta strain is circulating around the state, 'which is excellent news'. There were four new local cases of Covid in Queensland on Monday. On Sunday, the state recorded just one new case which was also linked to the Greek community centre.
