Louise Sword, 53, and her 12-year-old daughter Tabitha, of Lurgashall, West Sussex, died after their SUV collided with another vehicle near Zinkwazi while they were on holiday. The inquests into the August 10 deaths were opened at West Sussex Coroner's Court in Crawley today. According to previous local reports , the driver of the other vehicle, a 60-year-old female, died shortly after the arrival of paramedics. Post-mortem examinations found Louise and Tabitha both died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash, the coroner was told.
