This week he was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the 2022 Queen’s Birthday Honours list for services to neonatal care. Ms Doig was awarded a Queen’s Service Medal for service to the community. Ms Doig has chaired the South Dunedin Community Network since it started in 2018 and she said it had two main aims. Mrs Robbie felt "honoured and humbled" to receive the Queen’s Service Medal. Ms Solomon was awarded the Queen’s Service Medal for services to Maori Culture and heritage.
