Fergus - a Dorgi, a cross between a Dachshund and a Welsh Corgi - was named after Fergus Bowes-Lyon. The WW1 hero, an uncle of Queen Elizabeth II, died in France during the Battle of Loos in September 1915. Loch Muick is a place where the Queen and other members of the Royal Family usually go walking and have picnics during their summer break in August and September.
