Since the start of the year, more than 8,000 students and staff at the province's 3,000 schools have had COVID-19. Missed opportunityBenoît Mâsse, a professor of public health at the University of Montreal, said the government should have used the summer lull in infections to bolster its contact-tracing capacity.
