(PTI)A quarantined person in Uttar Pradesh’s Kushinagar district has been booked by police on the charge of refusing food cooked by a Dalit and verbally abusing her because of her caste. “Of the five persons at the quarantine facility, two (Siraj and another migrant worker from Delhi) had refused to accept food cooked by someone from a Scheduled Caste. He will be arrested as soon as he is discharged from the quarantine centre, Yadav said, adding that none would be allowed to step out for home food. The five persons at the quarantine centre had returned to the village on March 30 from Delhi, where they worked at different places. They are to spend 28 days in the quarantine centre.
