'Quadmesters' for teens and no sports: Reopening plans for Toronto public schools revealed

Teens will alternate between full days in class and full days online, in a "quadmester" structure. Here's what the rotation would look like for @tdsb high school students for 2020-21, with attendance on alternating days and the school year divided into four quadmesters. Ontario Minister of Education Stephen Lecce said last week that the 'homeroom model' will minimize the number of people elementary students are interacting with on any given day. "Direct and indirect contacts in schools for elementary students should be limited to approximately 50 and for secondary students should be limited to approximately 100," the report indicates. More granular details will be provided to families and school staff in the coming days weeks, the TDSB says.
