He underwent surgery at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, in Singapore, on Wednesday, Senior Information Officer of Road Transport and Bridges Ministry Abu Naser said. He said: “Obaidul Quader is still in the operation theater and is under the doctor's observation. “His family seeks the blessings of the people of Bangladesh.”The road, transport and bridges minister was admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) on March 3 with breathing complications, but tests revealed three blockages in his coronary artery. He was flown to Singapore, the next day, for treatment at the Mount Elizabeth Hospital.
