He said: “The leaders of Jatiya Oikya Front can openly discuss various political issues joining the program at Ganabhaban on Saturday. BNP representatives could have directly talked to the prime minister at Ganabhaban. On Thursday, the Oikya Front steering committee decided not to join the tea party at the Ganabhaban, calling it a "mockery". The alliance spokesperson and BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir briefed reporters about the meeting decision. Turning down BNP and Oikyafront's demand for re-election, Quader said: “They will have to wait until the 12th preliminary election for it.”
