“The court, not the government, delivered the verdict. There is nothing to rejoice,” the general secretary of the ruling party said at a news conference at the Dhanmondi office of its chief on Thursday afternoon. “We will handle the situation calmly, carefully and politically,” he added. He also said the law enforcers are ready to tackle the situation if the BNP protests turned violent.
