Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said illegal yaba and weapons are entering Bangladesh, along with the influx of thousands of fleeing Rohingya from Myanmar. “Rohingya people are pouring in from Myanmar, and along with these refugees, Yaba and weapons are also entering Bangladesh. We call upon the UN to help us send back the Rohingya to their own country, by creating international pressure on Myanmar. We are barely supporting the refugees in Bangladesh soil,” Obaidul Quader said. Either send them [Rohingya] back to Myanmar, or relocate them to another country.”Earlier in the day, Obaidul Quader laid the foundation stone of a new building called “Sarak Bhaban” in Cox’s Bazar.
