Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader also said there is conspiracy behind the rumors of hiking price of salt after onion. "A group of people is trying to gain political interest by spreading rumors about price hike of salt after onion," said Quader. Quader urged people not to pay any attention to these rumors and warned that rumor mongers will be brought to book. Government and authorities have taken measures to tackle these rumors, Quader said.
