The PeninsulaDOHA: Qatar Development Bank (QDB), along with 28 leading Qatari companies, participated in the second edition of Big 5 Construct North Africa, an exhibition for operators in the construction industry. The QDB participation is in line with providing technologies, services and facilities, which is expected to play a key role in driving Morocco’s economic infrastructure and business opportunities and to promote Qatari products across local, regional and global markets. The expo was held at the Parc Des Expositions De L’Office Des Changes in Casablanca, Morocco from April 10 - 12 with the participation of over 190 construction industry firms from 29 countries and attraction of thousands of visitors from all over the world. Commenting on the latest exhibition, Abdulaziz bin Nasser Al Khalifa, Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Development Bank, said: “At QDB, we are delighted to partake in the second edition of Big 5 Construct North Africa in Morocco. This will promote long term growth opportunities for local Qatari companies, as they aid in the development of the Moroccan construction industry, along with creating new export partnerships.
