Share TweetBy Alexandria San JuanTwenty-five brand new patrol cars and 100 rifles donated by the Quezon City government were turned over to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) on Thursday. Chief Superintendent Joselito Esquivel Jr., QCPD director, said that the newly-acquired patrol cars and assault rifles add to the millions of pesos worth of logistical equipment donated by the QC LGU to the police force. In 2017, the QCPD also received 50 units of Toyota Vios and 150 Yamaha motorcycles from the QC-LGU headed by Mayor Herbert Bautista. He also asked PNP Chief Oscar Albayalde to continue instilling discipline in QC policemen who commit “infractions and violate policies of the organization.”
