Share TweetBy Chito ChavezThe Quezon City government will prioritize the construction of additional classrooms to cope with the increasing number of enrollees in the city’s public schools. Last Tuesday, outgoing Mayor Herbert M. Bautista and Education Secretary Dr. Leonor Briones led in the inauguration of a new four-story senior high school building in Flora Ylagan, Barangay Pinayahan. The new Flora Ylagan Senior High School building has 23 classrooms and laboratories. According to a city government statement, the Bautista administration has reduced the classroom shortage to less than 1,000 from 3,000.
