At Nkran, waste mining operations focused on the western pushback, which is scheduled for substantial completion in Q3 2019. As a a result, the first quarter of 2019 had only 83 days of production, instead of the normal 90 days. However, the Company remains on track to deliver its annual production guidance for 2019 of 225,000 to 245,000 ounces of gold. Key infrastructure projects are expected to commence in the second quarter of 2019 including the commencement of the Tetrem village relocation.
