United Airlines has been flying the Boeing 747 since 1970. But all good things come to an end, and United is retiring its fleet of 747s with a final flight in November. For the true aviation geek, the biggest lure will probably be the idea of stretching out in one’s very own 747 economy seats. A pair of seats will cost you 275,000 MileagePlus awards miles, while the triple seats are a relative bargain at 250,000. When we checked on October 28 there were just three double seats left, along with 28 triple seats.
