The second vehicle was followed on the southern motorway towards the Waikato Expressway. The drama began about 5am when Waitemata police saw the cars being driven erratically on the northwestern motorway. Police chased two suspected stolen vehicles seen being driven erratically in Auckland early this morning, and they are still hunting for one. It was seen turning around near the Te Kauwhata turn off heading back towards Auckland with police in tow. One was a stolen vehicle whose driver had failed to stop for police earlier in the night, while the second was also thought to have been stolen.
