A dog has been saved in a miraculous rescue after it was swept out to sea in a mudslide in Arctic Norway. The dog was able to swim to land where he was saved by rescuers in a military helicopter. 'It appears no humans were in the area when it happened,' local police officer Torfinn Halvari told Norwegian news agency NTB. 'The dog was swept into the sea but managed to swim ashore and survived,' said Halvari. The 650 metre long mudslide swept both the land and the eight houses on it into the swirling water on Wednesday
