CANINE welfare project Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better (MDDB) volunteer Kavitah Ganasan was shocked when she chanced upon an old dog with four puppies near a secondary jungle in Seremban. She said the dog looked like it was more than 13 years old and yet had four very active puppies. The puppies will be seeking homes at the MDDB adoption drive at Jaya One, Jalan 13/6, Petaling Jaya, tomorrow. MDDB adoption coordinator Christine Lai said another batch of four puppies aged two months that were dumped outside the MDDB halfway home would also be at the adoption drive. Lai said those who wanted to donate in cash and kind to MDDB can also drop off their contributions at the adoption drive.
