SCREENGRABEducation Minister Shafqat Mahmood on Wednesday announced that the educational institutions will remain closed in nine districts of Punjab and in Islamabad until April 11 amid a surge in Covid-19 cases. Education ministers from all provinces attended the meeting, wherein the health department officials briefed the participants on the current situation. “Likewise, administrators and teachers may also take these decisions accordingly.” The minister made it clear that educational institutions include schools, universities, academies, seminaries etc. ANNOUNCEMENT:All Public & Private schools of Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Sargoda, Sheikhupura will remain closed till April 11th, 2021.
